FUNDAMENTALS OF SECURED FINANCE LAW; ANOTHER FEATHER TO BASIRU’S CAP
It is not an understatement that a man that is diligent in his work deserves some accolades. But besides these accolades, one thing is sacrosanct, it must come with the level of ingenuity and intellectual depth put in the work.
Several Legal Minds have at different times or the other sat down and put into academic work the various lacuna in the legal profession as well as its practice.
In its real terms, they tend to provide solutions to the fundamental problems of research and its ideals.
Finance law has been of immense importance to the law profession in a whole as those in the bar and the bench sit down with devoted curiosity to solve issues that crop up in this regard. It is the financial aspect of law that brings conclusion to most judicial cases around the world.
With several papers, texts, journals and write-ups on Finance Law, there is the need for cogent, brilliant and astute opinion to fall in place to ensure that circumstances that arise with the legal impediments in our society especially with the ageing Nigerian Constitution are looked into and basis for amendments, arguments and counter arguments will be formed.
For Dr Ajibola Basiru, a Ph.D holder in Private and Property Law from the University of Lagos, it goes beyond writing books or Chunning out materials, its about numerous benefits and advantages to judicial processes and societal merits it brings.
As an astute professional and practical politician, his works have at one point or the other come out when basic law guides and materials are needed for proper legal discourse and related matters.
With almost two decades in practice, The Fundamentals of Secured Finance Law is another milestone in his career with many derivable benefits in the offing.
