Dr Mulikat Abiola, the APC candidate to represent Ifelodun Local Government at State House of Assembly, State of Osun.
Dr. (Hajia) Mulikat Abiola was born into the family of Alhaji and Hajia Salawudeen Jinadu of Ile Oyo, Ikirun, Ifelodun local government council of Osun State. She attended her primary school in Ikirun and later proceeded to attend Coker Memorial High School, Ikirun. By 1992, she has obtained her NCE Certificate in Biology and Chemistry with Upper Credit. In pursuit of academic degree, she got admitted to read Botany in the Department of Biological Sciences, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Abiola with “sea that never dry” as a popular nick name by her school mate served her father’s land in Abia State. Upon her completion of NYSC, she enrolled for her Master’s Degree at Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike where she obtained her MSc in Plants science.
Dr Mulikat Abiola quest for knowledge motivated her to enroll in the same school to pursue PhD in Plants science. She graduated and was awarded Doctor of Philosophy in Plants Taxonomy and Bio systematic. Her dissertation in 5 Sienna spices is an approved patent journal.
Hajia Mulikat was a great young lady back then as a senior girl at Coker Memorial High School, Ikirun. She was Financial Secretary of MSSN at College of Education, Ila Orangun. Also, she was an active and financial member of Federation of Ikirun Student’s Union during her students days.
Dr Mulikat activities among her colleagues in supporting them academically and financially at ABU Zaria earned her the name “sea never dry”. Also as a lover of immediate community and grassroots mobilization in her domain, she was recognized and appointed to represent Yoruba in the Government of Governor Orji Uzoh Kalu between 2004 to 2007 as a Special Assistant (Social Services).
Dr Abiola effective representation gives her another opportunity to serve Governor Theophilus Orji Government as Vice Chairman Muslim Pilgrimage Welfare Board between 2012 to 2015. Dr Abiola is currently working as a lecturer in University of Agriculture, Umudike Abia State. She has over 25 publication journals with an International journal publishers. She is happily married with 6 children.
Dr.(Hajia) Abiola has signified her readiness to serve her immediate community, Ifelodun as a whole in the House of Assembly, State of Osun from 2019.
