The Osun State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Prince Gboyega Famodun, has consoled his counterpart in the state Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Hon Clement Olasoji Adagunodo, over the recent death of his grandmother, Mrs Emilia Moradeke Adagunodo.
According to a statement issued by the Media Consultant to the APC state chairman, Mr Kola Olabisi, the PDP helmsman should take the death of his grandmother philosophically as nothing happens under the son without the express consent of God.
It would be recalled that the recent demise of Adagunodo’s grandmother at 107 was reported few days ago.
Famodun who stated that every mortal is a sojourner in this world reminded Adagunodo to take solace in the fact that the deceased had successfully completed her own circle of history without blemish in this sinful world.
The state APC chairman said, though it’s always painful to lose any of the beloved ones, but the deed is beyond the comprehension of any human being whenever it’s God desire to recall any soul.
He literally likened this world to a market place where one quits immediately he finishes his own transaction.
Famodun said: “Mama’s exit is an admixture of sadness and joy as no one prays to lose his loved ones irrespective of their advancement in ages.
“The joyful aspect of Mama’s exit however, is the rare blessing of God that saw her through 107 years without any unpalatable story about her.
“It is the same God who giveth that taketh at His appointed time”, he said.
Famodun prayed to God Almighty to grant Adagunodo and the entire family of the deceased the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
