Barely three weeks after the Foundation was launched, the volunteers of TH-W Foundation have made a short trip to Local Authority Government Middle School, Ifetedo, Ife South Local Government Council Area of Osun State.
The aim of the visit was to inculcate in the pupils the culture of the importance of healthcare and how to apply various numerous health tips to their daily activities.
The event which took place on Wednesday after various deliberations with the school’s Vice Principal, Mr Afolabi O.Y., a week earlier, was indeed a success as intended mission of the foundation to impact knowledge was achieved without hitches.
The host pupils who were on the lookout to receiving the foundation team could not hide their feelings as they were in a jubilant mood throughout the session of the exercise.
The volunteers that were in attendance are: Messrs Olabisi Folarin, Fagbolahun Victor, Miss Akinboade Tobiloba, Miss Gloria Fabule, Miss Oladimeji Inioluwa, Miss Adeyemo Tosin, Miss Oyebode Dorcas and Mr Ogunsola Victor who introduced the foundation members.

Olabisi who took over from where Ogunsola stopped gave numerous tips to the pupils which he classified into six categories.
The six categories under which the health tips were embedded are: sleep, stress, mental health, exercise, diet and nutrition and illness.
He also made his lecture an interactive session so that all the pupils would be carried along and be able to understand the health tips very well.
Amongst the health tips Olabisi gave to the school pupils are, having a good night rest, creating a routine, building on their confidence, drinking water regularly, washing of hands amongst others.
Ogunsola later took over and asked questions from the pupils so as to clarify if the pupils truly understood what they were being told and the pupils responded positively which meant they paid attention when the volunteers were lecturing them.
After the whole session, the volunteers of the foundation headed to the Vice Principal’s office who expressed his joy and happiness for the enlightening interactive session the volunteers engaged his pupils in.
