These are the words of the Senator representing Osun Central Senatorial District,Dr Ajibola Basiru at a grand reception in his honour at Ila,Ikirun and Osogbo.
At the grand finale in Osogbo,Senator Basiru reiterated the need for all party leaders,elders and faithful to close ranks,ensure cohesion within the party and be transparently loyal to Governor Oyetola,as according to him, the success of the Governor is the success of APC.
He disclosed that there would be Constituency Relations Offices apart from Constituency Offices through which people can interface with him on their general needs.
Urging members of the party to be patient as the dividends will go round,Senator Ajibola Basiru charged them to always attend ward meetings of the party,as the quarterly senatorial meeting will also be revived.
Senator Basiru was appreciative of the roles played by Chief Bisi Akande and former Governor Rauf Aregbesola in his journey through murky waters of politics.
Speaker,State of Osun House of Assembly,Hon Timothy Owoeye assured the people of the State that the 7th Assembly is for them,as the lawmakers would do everything within their powers to serve the electorates.
The immediate past speaker,Dr Najim Salaam alerted the federal lawmakers on the platform of the All Progressives Congress to the need to cooperate with President Muhammad Buhari for APC to continue being the choice of the people.
There were goodwill messages from the Chairman,Osun APC,Prince Gboyega Famodun, Chairman, Alliance for Collaborating Political Parties,Prince Adeleke Masilo(Masipo Ola lo) and the immediate past deputy speaker of the State Parliament Hon Akintunde Adegboye who was the Chairman of the Victory Rally and Party for Senator Ajibola Basiru.
They all extolled the virtues of Ajibola Basiru and expressed confidence in his ability to represent Osun Central well at the National Assembly.
The victory rally was attended by party leaders and elders across the ten local government areas of Osun Central Senatorial District.
