The immediate-past member of the Osun State House of Assembly representing Aiyedire State Constituency, Honourable Leke Ogunsola popularly known as ‘O’Leke’ has felicitated with former Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola over his ministerial nomination and successful screening.
Ogunsola in a chat with *NEWSTAIWAD* in Osogbo today said it was the superlative achievements of Aregbesola as a governor and commissioner in Lagos that showcased his worth for consideration for the exalted position of a minister in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The former lawmaker stated that a golden fish can never hide without being noticed which is the plight of the political success story of Aregbesola.
He said, it was on record that the former governor who was in a hurry to develop the state succeeded in laying a solid foundation for the development of the state.
Ogunsola hinted that the political ingenuity which the ex-governor successfully used in solving some seemingly intractable challenges in the state cannot be forgotten so soon by discerning minds in the state and beyond.
He said, he was sure of the fact that there is no ministry Aregbesola is entrusted with that he won’t make a remarkable difference.
Ogunsola stated that the consideration of the ex-governor for a ministerial position goes a long way to make a statement for the youths that there is a reward for hardwork.
He said, it is on record that Aregbesola tried his best to transform the state with his numerous people-oriented programmes that spread across the nooks and crannies of the state.
The pharmacist-turned politician hinted that there is no way the history of modern Osun can be written without dedicating a worthwhile proportion of same to Aregbesola.
He said, he congratulated the citizenry of the entire country who would have an opportunity to drink from the developmental ingenuity tap of the ministerial-nominee as his service will have to cover the whole nation.
