APC in Osun has described its Chairman, Prince Phillips Gboyega Famodun as an “astute, emphatic and graceful leader who knows how to win even in challenging circumstances.”
This eulogy came from the party’s director of publicity, research and strategy, Kunle Oyatomi in a congratulatory message the APC sent to the party’s Chairman on his 61st birthday today.
In the message sent on behalf of the party and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, Oyatomi described Prince Famodun as a “distinguished leader”, who took the party to battle in perilous circumstances; in a highly competitive gubernatorial election and won.
According to the APC chieftain, “the party won, because its leadership was able to hold firm through astute, emphatic and efficient administration that the party needed most, at the time, to stick together as a united force, without which the story would have been different.”
Oyatomi recalled that “Prince Famodun marked his 60th birthday just a few days to that election in September 2018 and the party’s victory was additional “feather to his cap.
“And just last Saturday, the APC Chairman was basking again, celebrating multiple success as the party and government officially hosted the new federal Minister for Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola (the State’s immediate past governor), in his first visit to the state, since he started his new job.
“We join our Chairman to relish his 61st birthday in what has become a treble celebration of party, government and its leadership past and present.
“This is a moment of unique accomplishment for Prince Famodun whose ascent to the APC leadership in Osun has brought remarkable progress and joy to its fold.
“All Secretariat staff and the State Executive Council join in wishing our Chairman a happy birthday and more successful time ahead in his efficient and dexterous management of the ruling party in Osun.”
