The State of Osun House of Assembly has ordered that Charms Nigeria Limited appears before it without any delay.
The Speaker of the parliament Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye said this while expressing dissatisfaction over the refusal of the firm to furnish the legislatures with details of their activities with the state government.
The State of Osun house of assembly has in a number of times written to CHAMS firm to furnish her with it activities with the state government for this fiscal year in which the firm has posed negligence.
Mr. Speaker however stated categorically that the house will not hesitate to make use of the constitutional powers at their disposal as provided in sections 128 sub section (1&2) of 1999 Constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended.
In the same vein, Rt Hon Timothy Owoeye has unveiled the nominees of Governor Gboyega Oyetola for Osun Independent Electoral Commission (OSIEC) as contained in a letter sent to the House of Assembly for proper scrutiny and further consideration.
Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun has nominated Barrister Segun Oladitan as the Chairman of Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSIEC) with members as fellows;
1. Mrs Abosede Omibekun (East)
2. Mr. Rufus Oyeniran (West),
3. Alhaja Babalola Adubi (Central)
4. Mr Oladosu Gidigbi (East),
5. Mr. Yinka Ajiboye (West) and
6. Alhaji Wahaab Adewoyin (Central)
The nominees have been directed to submit about 35 copies of their Curriculum vitae to the Assembly not later than Thursday and appear for screening on the floor of the House Wednesday 27th of May,2020.
