Hon.Taiwo Olukemi Oluga on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was declared winner of the Ayedaade/ Irewole/ Isokan Federal Constituency election on the 23rd February, 2019. She polled a total of 36,876 votes while her opponent on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) garnered 31,956 votes.

Hon. Taiwo Oluga is the Chairman, House Committee Women in Parliament.
Member of Pan African Parliament.
She is also a member of the House committees on Rural Development,Tourism, Police etc.

(4.). A motion on the need to improve access of Pension Reform Act on the 12th of December 2019.
(5.). A motion on the Uprise of cultism in Nigeria on the 18th of July 2019
(6.). A motion on death sentence for rape on the 27th of November, 2019.
(7.). Supported the motion on the need to address the issue of “mysterious Deaths” in Jigawa state. The motion futher calls for the urgent establishment of well equiped isolation and testing centres as part of measures towards curbing the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
(8.). On Wednesday 18th March 2020, she proposed an amendment to the motion on coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and that the House Leadership should be briefed weekly by the Minister of Health on the country’s preparedness for containing the pandemic.
(9.). Wednesday 11th March 2020,she supported the motion moved on the need to address the lapses of Security Operatives at the Nation’s Airports.
(10.) Supported motion on the need to re-assess and re-evaluate the tactical squads of the Nigeria Police Force.
She proposed an amendment to ensure that officers involved are made to undergo mental stability test and that such tests should be periodical to all law enforcement officers nationwide.
The motion was voted on and adopted as amended.
(11.). Supported the debate that called for an adequate mechanism to be put in place to ensure that Coronavirus doesn’t get out of control. She called for proper care for victims of the virus and more campaigns should be taken to the Nigerian people, especially those at the grassroots, through primary healthcare activities.
(1). Submission of a petition from a constituent whose engagement with the Federal Road safety Commission was unlawfully terminated and another against the same commission which denied his due and deserved promotion.
(2). Submission of a petition by one of my constituents and his colleagues on the non-remittance of their salaries and arrears from Niger Delta Power holding company for many years.
